Courses are run usually on a Sunday starting around 10am till 4pm, in all aspects of   stickmaking and carving, using both power tools and hand tools. If wishing to work   with horn, please bare in mind that there will not be sufficient time to complete a   stick.. Horn is NOT supplied in the courses so please bring your own. Courses are   designed to suit individual needs, whether a complete novice or the more advanced   carver or stick maker wishing to improve his/her skills. Steve will explain the points to   bare in mind when making a stick either for walking the dog which is both practical   and feels and looks good, or guidance to produce a stick to competition standard .
